A nanny is employed by a family to care for children in their own home. The duties of a nanny would typically include sole charge responsibility for the children, nursery duties and preparation of the children's food, washing and ironing of children's clothes. A nanny can either live-in or come to work on a daily basis. A live-in nanny provides greater flexibility for
childcare and the family provides the nanny with their own bedroom and often their own bathroom. |
