Need-a-Nanny?
Useful information > What is a shared nanny?
Sharing
To reduce the cost of employing a nanny, parents can pool their resources and employ one nanny between them. A nanny share role is usually live-out, days only and regular hours.
One nanny could work several days a week for one family and the rest of the week for the other family. Alternatively, the nanny looks after both families' children in one of the family houses.
To avoid tension, the nanny share arrangements should be well defined at the beginning to avoid misunderstandings. Normally, the nanny is employed by one of the families and the other family
makes a contribution towards the cost of the nanny. |
